Heracles not Hercules Prologue

Long ago in the far away land of ancient Greece, there was an age of extraordinary strange gods and bumbling heroes. And possibly the oddest tale out of all these heroes, was the one of the mighty Heracles, not Hercules. People keep getting his name wrong. Oh, wait, ahem. Excuse me lost my train of thought…

Oh yes.

But what is the measure of a true hero? That is where our story begins…
"Like, would you just listen to that!" huffed someone. Out of the shadows stepped a blonde-er-man. But this man was wearing a female pink toga.

"Toris, the author is, like, making this sound totally weird! How are people supposed to, like, remain interested?" the blonde sat on a stone bench and preceded to sulk. The other young man he was talking to, a nervous looking brunette, came to stand beside his cross-dressing friend.

"Feliks it's not polite to interrupt…" he said. Feliks glared at him, "But we could, like, totally make it better!"

"Ehh, maybe we should take it from here, aru!" another man with long black hair came to stand beside the other men.

Excuse me, can I ask who exactly you people are?

"Oh, we're the muses, aru," the black haired man twiddled with his long hair, "I'm Yao, the blonde bubble head is Feliks, the shy brunette is Toris, and," Yao looked around, "Vash and his little sister Alessia are around here somewhere, aru…"
"Oh can we, can we please big brother," a sweet looking young girl with short blonde hair came skipping out, along with another man beside her who had the same looking short blonde hair.

"Uh," Vash looked around, "I'm not sure how the author would feel about that. But," he quickly added when he saw Alessia's expression, "I'm sure if it was a nice author, they would let us take a turn, once and awhile." Alessia smiled complacently.
But none of you are Greek.

"That's not fair, aru!"

"Yea, it's like, totally mean!" Feliks began to pout. "Toris, tell the author to be nice and let us, like, help narrate." Toris only sighed nodded, "It would be nice, after all you're not the best storyteller…"

Hey!

"I insist that we narrate," Vash brought out a dangerous looking sword.
Um, gulp. Well I don't see why not. As long as you do not interfere with events!
"Like, we'll be totally goddesses!" Feliks shrieked and tackled Toris with happiness.
"Where should we start, aru?"

"Big brother, maybe we should start a bit before Heracles, after all events happened before his birth that are important to the plotline." Alessia spread her toga out a big as she sat on the floor. Everyone else nodded in agreement.

"Who should, like start?" Feliks eyes suddenly lit up, "Like, Toris! You go!" Toris looked terrified at the thought of describing the scary events that had taken place.
"I-uh-s-sure." Toris thought for a moment, and then began…

"The world was a t-terrifying place when it was still young. There were these big bad guys called Titans who ran a-mock. The earth was in a time of terror and nobody knew what to do with all the earthquakes, chaos, and volcanoes erupting…" Toris's face grew whiter as he spoke.

"But then, like, along came Alfred!" Feliks took over for his terrified friend. "He is like, the king of the gods and he hurled thunderbolts at the Titans and trapped them away! And everything was, like, fine and dandy for a long time! All the gods moved to Mount Axis and pretty soon Alfred's spouse, Arthur, got pregnant! And because he is, like, a god he can do that even though he's male!" Feliks began to jump up and down.

Great, now why don't we take a trip and see what happened, back to the moment Heracles was born…
